Kenya moves.
HOOP moves with it.

Point-to-point carpooling — a shared seat, a direct trip, a crew pass or an autonomous shuttle. Every fare is the matatu fare plus 30%, a fraction of a private hail.

How a HOOP ride works

All services
  1. 1

    Say where

Type any place in Kenya. HOOP Brain reads plain text and Kiswahili, then prices every product on that route.

  2. 2

    Request a seat

Add your name and M-PESA number. Nothing is charged — your trip code appears as soon as HOOP saves the request.

  3. 3

    HOOP calls you

The team confirms a driver, the exact pickup point and the fare, then shares your trip PIN.

  4. 4

    Ride with SOS

Your trip code travels with you. One tap sends your GPS position and trip code to the HOOP team.

  5. 5

    Pay in M-PESA

You approve the M-PESA prompt on your own phone. 80% of the fare goes to the driver.
